Where were you on the 20th May?
If you were not at Revival and JK Snazz Fashions on the Coast Road in Chlorakas, then you missed out on a fantastic Saturday afternoon! Hundreds of visitors flocked to view the impressive display of classic cars provided by members of the Paphos Classic Vehicle Club, and, were wowed by the professionalism of the Fashion Show which showcased the clothes and accessories of both the Revival and the JK Snazz fashion emporiums.
Over 40 Classic Vehicles from all over the Island came together in Chlorakas and were headlined by the immaculately restored Rolls Royce Silver Wraith and the Mercedes W110 Ponton, which both hailed from the 1950s. Two very contrasting convertibles were also on view, a 1938 Austin 7 Opal , called “Humphrey”, and a 1992 Lotus Elan, whose affectionately known as “Ernie”. Whilst there were some exotic cars like the Ferrari Dino replica, a Ford Mustang and a Chevrolet Corvette, there were also the sort of cars you, or your parents, drove back in the 60s and 70s, such as the Ford Zephyr and the Vauxhall Cresta. Motorcycles were also well represented, from a Harley Davidson to a Lambretta Scooter.
The afternoon peaked with the spectacular Fashion Show organised by Revival and JK Snazz, highlighting the haute couture of both of these retail establishments. The elegant fashions were expertly and professionally displayed by the volunteer models to the delight and appreciation of the assembled crowds.
