THE NOVEMBER ISSUE OF THE PAPHOS POST IS OUT NOW!

November has arrived, bringing cooler days, a time for remembrance and a brand-new edition of The Paphos Post!

This month’s issue is filled with heartwarming community news, exciting developments, travel updates and stories that celebrate the people and places that make Paphos such a special place to call home.

And we’re leading with a story that offers genuine hope to so many families across the district.

FRESH HOPE AS FRIENDS’ HOSPICE NEARS REOPENING

After more than six years, the much-loved Friends’ Hospice in Tala is preparing to reopen its doors and once again provide free palliative care to people across Paphos District.

Having cared for almost 2,000 patients before its closure in 2020, the hospice is now awaiting its operating licence from the Ministry of Health. With key staff in place, dedicated volunteers ready to help and the continued support of the community, there is renewed optimism that this invaluable service will soon return.

It’s a story of determination, compassion and the extraordinary difference a community can make when people come together.

THREE CHEERS FOR COLUMBIA BEACH RESORT!

There’s more good news for Paphos tourism as Columbia Beach Resort in Pissouri Bay celebrates being named Cyprus’ Leading Resort 2026 at the World Travel Awards.

It’s the resort’s third consecutive win and its fifth time receiving the prestigious accolade — another fantastic achievement for the region’s hospitality industry!

Planning a trip to the UK or welcoming friends and family to Cyprus?

Cyprus Airways has announced new daily direct flights between Larnaca and London Stansted, beginning in April 2027, offering travellers another convenient connection between Cyprus and Britain.
