An open call has been announced for the 10th International Short Film Festival of Cyprus due to take place in October.
The successful festival is organised by the Ministry of Education and the Rialto Theatre.
All sorts of genres not exceeding 25 minutes and including, fiction, documentary, experimental, student and animation may now be submitted until June 1, 2020.
Cypriot films compete for both the International and the National awards from the ministry, and Cypriot directors that live and work in Cyprus or abroad are eligible to submit their films. Films in the competition should be Cyprus premieres and must have been completed after January 1, 2019.
An international jury made up of five members will award the films in the national and international competition sections.
Submissions can be made via filmfreeway.com and shortfilmdepot.com. The festival will take place in Limassol on October 10 to 16.
