Registrations for infants and children at the newly created Social Care Centre of the municipality of Paphos is underway, and parents are urged to register as soon as possible.
“Families that are interested in including their children in the programme can obtain the relevant application forms, as well as the selection criteria from the website of the municipality at www.pafos.org.cy or from the office of the responsible staff member at the town hall,” a municipality spokesman told the Paphos Post.
The impressive and state-of-the-art multi purpose Social Care Centre is located on Vasilios Konstantinos Street and was created by the municipality of Paphos, with the main aim of serving the working mothers and young families in Paphos, he added.
Completed applications must be handed to the municipal office for Social Care at the town hall, or scanned copies e-mailed to: social.welfare@pafos.org.cy
The Centre will start its operation with the following departments and monthly costs: Infants 4 months-2 years old €200, 2-3 years old, will cost €180 a month, children 3-4 years old, €180 and afternoon care of children 5-12 years old, €100.
The opening hours for infants, toddlers and children are from 7.30am to 1.30pm, 7.30 to 3pm, and in the afternoons from 1pm to 5pm or 1pm to 6pm, respectively.
