Local Boy George Michaelides in London’s West End

Local boy George Michaelides, aged 17, from Young Stars Theatre & Performing Art School Kissonerga, will be making his debut on London’s West End at the London Palladium, after joining the cast for musical, HERE COME THE BOYS, directed by Choreographer Gareth Walker. The show, from Strictly come dancing, features many of the tv show’s favourites, including Aljaž Škorjanec, Nadiya Bychkova, Pasha Kovalev, Graziano di Prima, Robin Windsor and finalist Karim Zeroual.

With an already impressive background in performing, George has been dancing since he was 6 years old & has trained at Young Stars Theatre & Performing Art School, where he won a 3 year scholarship at one of the finest dance colleges in the UK, Laines Theatre Arts in Epsom.  George was the winner in Cyprus for Musical Kids when he was 12 years old & came 3rd in Europe for hip hop. At just 12 years old he represented Cyprus in the 2016 Junior Eurovision with Dance Floor.
