We would like to thank each and every member of the Paphos Community for their truly magnificent generosity.
Andrea Thorne (Etherington) General Manager of RSS Logistics told the Paphos Post: An incredible 9,000 euros has been raised to help those families made homeless or who lost all their possessions.
Some 5000 euros have already been donated to a family who lost their home and every single possession. This has enabled them to buy items for the family in order to make a home for themselves and their young children.
In addition to the money, RSS Logistics have been inundated with gifts of clothing, shoes, toys and household items which have been passed on to those affected by the recent devastating fires.
The RSS Logistics Warehouse team are currently collecting items of furniture which again is being donated by the Community and is being passed on to the families.
Andrea is urging anyone who has been affected to make contact with her or any member of the RSS Logistics team so that the donations can be passed on as swiftly as possible. Also, if anyone wishes to have more information about the donations and their distribution, they too are encouraged to get in touch.
Over the years, the Paphos Community has responded wholeheartedly to every appeal set up by the team at RSS Logistics and they would like to applaud you all for your ongoing compassion and for sharing their values of giving back to the Community.
