Hoping to make this a yearly event, Sole Sisters, the ladies section of the successful Paphos Running Club, have elected for the fourth year running to support the well known breast cancer support group, BREAST OF FRIENDS. And this year they will also make a donation to CPSG and the Friends Hospice.
On Saturday 9th October 2021, during Breast Cancer Awareness month, we invite everyone to run or walk the 5k from Paphos Harbour ( near the Castle ) to the Elysium Hotel and back. Admission is €5 per person. €2 for 10 to 16 year olds. And for under 10’s it’s free.
Registration begins at 3pm. And the race starts at 4pm. Please wear something pink!
The Breast of Friends is supported by the Cancer Patients Support Group and is in its 7th year. An independent group whose aim is for members to support each other from the discovery of breast cancer to recovery. Due to the pandemic Breast of Friends have been unable to meet monthly but they hope that will soon change. In its 3rd year is Knitted Knockers, a world wide organisation whose aim is to knit soft comfortable prosthesis for ladies who have had mastectomies or major lumpectomies.
