In an effort to revamp the image of its charity shops and to bring something new to the market of charity, second-hand, pre-loved and second chance items, Animal Rescue Cyprus has opened its newest charity shops at the beginning of September.
Bright and airy but above all filled with pre-loved clothing and household (bric-a-brac) items of the best quality, the new shop is located in Kato Paphos, on the main road between Kings Avenue Mall and the Big Church. The neighbors of the new shop are the Alfaparf hair product and the Il Vecchio Mulino Pasta Shop and the ARC Tea Rooms on the corner of the building.
Some fabulous branded items have already been donated, from clothes to jewelry, shoes, tableware and sunglasses. The stars of the new shop so far seem to be the brand new summer dresses and collectible decorative objects and dinner set, with tags and labels clearly visible.
Our newest recruit, Katherine, shop manager, volunteer officer and all-round lovely person, is welcoming everyone in the shop with a smile and any advice and info needed on any of the items.
The shop is open from 9am to 5pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and from 9am to 1pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Donations are always needed and gratefully received.
Anyone who is in search of a new outfit or some great items, a nice present or some new table and cookware or just passing by wanting to have a browse, is welcome to pop by and say hello! Guaranteed are service with a smile and a great atmosphere!
Our other charity shops are located in Kato Paphos (2 on Agapinoros Road and 1 on Apostolou Pavlou Road), one in Peyia (right next to the Police station), one in Polis (Apostolos Andreas Street) and one in Tremithousa (Agiou Neophytou Street). They have all been redecorated in 2020 and the volunteers are welcoming you with open arms!
