Join Us At The Makers Space

On 13th September 2019, The Makers Space in Tala, opened it’s doors. A new concept in Paphos, offering a shared workspace, membership-based studio and gallery for ceramics and artists. The space was inspired by Lee-Anne Raw, and with the support of family and maker friends, The Makers Space has become a hub of creativity in Cyprus.

The Makers Space occupies a beautiful building approximately 300 metres from the Agios Neophytos Monastery in Tala. The space consists of two spacious rooms. The first is an impressive high vaulted space used as an art gallery and workspace. The second room is a fully equipped ceramic studio.

The Makers Space caters for artists and ceramicists of all abilities and styles, working in a shared studio space. The shared space concept offers a collaborative, supportive and community-based environment.

The Studio @ The Makers Space is home to creatives of multiple nationalities and is a melting-pot of cultures, creative styles and abilities, spanning enthusiastic beginners, hobbyists and internationally acclaimed artists and ceramicists. The Studio is also a busy teaching space offering a variety of creative courses and activities delivered by members and visiting experts.

The Gallery @ The Makers Space is a space for exhibitions, art and craft markets which will be run on a regular basis and is available for hire for private and public events.

The Pot Shop @ The Makers Space offers an extensive range of ceramics materials, premium glazes, tools and equipment to the wider ceramics community in Cyprus through its association with Potclays UK.
