We are talking about the article in last month’s issue regarding Kaliopi Nefelis.
The English saying. Good intentions alone, lead down the wrong path and even down the destructive path.
Most likely the gentleman/woman who became the source of the publication in last month’s issue, had good intentions.
They probably wanted to be useful but because of their, probably, own weaknesses to contribute, I say probably, they decided to do this. What they did, Paphos Post on page 5 was something untrue and without the permission of the mentioned people.
Some people are proud they don’t accept to become merciful, they have dignity. Some people volunteer to help and some people promote themselves as the Saint of Charity.
The organization ”young cancer victim” and gogetfunding.com/ are doing well. No one from the organization spoke to the child’s parents and no information was given to Paphos Post by the child’s parents and the parents do not accept the amount collected.
Yes, probably good intentions. Intentions by themselves only do harm. The child Kaliopi Nefeli returned from France victorious. Fight and win over death. Yes, friends helped, but no one asked for it. On their own, the child’s family thanks them. Responsibility is a virtue. Without consent is irresponsibility.
The collected money that appeared on the website is to be given to another child who will need it. Helpers are welcome.
The self-proclaimed Saints of charity had better be more careful. Yes you want to help. If you can’t, fine again. Putting forward an article without consent can get you into trouble for doing so.
We do not want and do not ask for begging.
The child’s school publicly thank the parents and school staff and the school president, the child is on road to of recovery.
