It also promotes the re-use of materials and the importance of showing respect for the environment and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLeave it if you have plenty, take it if you need it\u201d is the sentiment written on the wall which is found at the entrance of the school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative is also supported by the school\u2019s parents\u2019 association, the Geroskipou education department and Geroskipou Municipality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The public is invited to place clean clothes, shoes, non-perishable foods, personal hygiene products and cleaning products (each in a separate bag) for anyone who needs them to collect, on the hangers provided on the wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The wall is currently open to the public Monday to Friday from 8am to 3pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Bejay Browne.
