Maybe It Was His First Trip (Out Out) After Lockdown!

By Bejay Browne.

Photos of a mouflon visiting a coffee shop in Kambos village in the mountains in Cyprus were trending all over social media. The lovely mouflon was spotted on the coffee shop’s veranda by owners, Elias and Marina Cleanthous when they went to open up.

Forestry department senior official, Ioannis Papadopoulos, posted the photos on Facebook and jokingly said the mouflon had obviously stopped by for “coffee or a cold soda.”

The mouflon appeared tired though and was picked up by the relevant services. Sometimes mouflon that live in the forest close to the village like to wander the empty streets in the evenings, said Papadopoulos.

The photo shows the mouflon with coffee shop owners Elias and Marina Cleanthous and taken by Ioannis Papadopoulos.
