Andrew Lauder, the Founder of the Care Days Project, supported by CPSG and PASYKAF, helping patients diagnosed with cancer plus those recently bereaved through cancer, has told the Paphos Post that over 50 Care Days have been granted in the first 3 months of operation against a budget of 100 for the first year!
Care Days offers six options of completely free of charge pampering sessions to patients diagnosed with cancer in the last three years, or four options for those recently bereaved through cancer. This has been made possible by the generosity of our main sponsors: Markos MY Hair and Beauty Salon by Elena, the fabulous Ayii Anargyri Spa and the Elysia Breeze Restaurant together with our media sponsors, Paphos Post, Viva Fm and our advertising sponsors: Markos MY Hair and Beauty Salon by Elena, Centroptical Opticians, GLI Ioannides Honda, Martika’s Kitchen, Charlotte Hadjikyriakou Graphic Design, The Amphitheatre Cafe, and of course Viva FM Radio and Paphos Post for such wonderful support and to Cyprus Living Magazine.

As well as Dr. Christalla Phillipou and Nurse Olga at the Evangelismos Hospital in Paphos, Professor Astras, who has recently set up an oncology clinic at the St George Hospital in Paphos as well as at the American Medical Centre in Limassol and Paphos has agreed to support us in helping Care Days become established in Limassol and Nicosia, which is another major step forward for the Care Days Project in Cyprus.

Our cooperation with Angel Guardians and the Paphos Bereavement Group is working very well, helping those recently bereaved through cancer to enjoy a Care Day.
