In its 7th year THE BREAST OF FRIENDS breast cancer support group are holding its 5th walk or run on Saturday 15th October from the Castle at the harbour in Paphos to the Elysium Hotel (5k) and back. Admission is 5 euros, 10 to 16 year olds is 2 euros and for children under 10 there is no charge.
Supported by the Cancer Patients Support Group and Sole Sisters of Paphos Running Club registration is at 3pm, there is a warm up at 3.45pm by Carol Harvey our fully qualified fitness and aqua instructor and at 4pm the run and walk will start.
The aim of Breast of Friends is to support breast cancer patients from discovery to recovery. Members meet monthly at Hickory for coffee (except for August) on the first Monday of every month.
One of our members runs ‘Knitted Knockers’ a world wide organization that knit soft prosthesis to individuals needs.
